In true 'Diner En Blanc' style, we recently celebrated our new 2015 vintage with our Marlborough team at a pop up luncheon at the Woolshed. The new vintage marked New Zealand and Australia's transition from green and red labels, to more elegant and premium white. Marlborough Chef duo, Feast Merchants, used local ingredients to create a menu en blanc - cerviche, whitebait fritters, gnocchi and a beautiful cheese platter all complimented by our new release Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer.
It was a total surprise to our team. They were simply asked to wear something white. When they arrived at the Woolshed, they were presented with masks and very quickly entered into the spirit of the day.
