The recently released 2011 Mud House Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc has been presented with a Gold Medal and Best in Class award at one of the world's most rigorous wine shows: The International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC), held recently in  London.

The Wine Society has released the names of the finalists for their Young Winemaker of the Year award and Mud House Winemaker Nadine Worley has made it through. These prestigious and industry-leading awards, now in their eleventh year, are held annually to recognise and reward the talents of the most exceptional young Winemakers in Australia and New Zealand. The winners will be announced at the Young Winemaker of the Year gala evening, held in Sydney on November 18th.

7th July 2011: The 2010 Mud House Sauvignon Blanc has been named Gastropub Wine of the Year at the Sommeliers Wine Awards in the UK. The Sauvignon Blanc came out top of 12 short listed wines in a blind tasting of over 30 panelists from top restaurants and bars in the UK.

Even Established artists would be delighted to get $269,000 for their work, but that's what total amaeteur, eight-year-old Bella Kingi , has done.
